BMJ poll on palliative care
Palliative care for non-malignant disease is the area in which doctors can make the greatest difference to patient care. More than 4000 people from all over the world voted in a bmj.com poll to decide which of six projects would make the most improvement to patient care. Overall 1549 (39%) voted for palliative care.
